A stolen weekend....

in Ohio.
Adam is working for the WNIT in Bowling Green State University, so I drove an hour south to meet him.
I can not wait for him to get back to the hotel so that we can head off to dinner. There are so many places to choose from here!
The only sad thing is that we are spending less then 24 hours together. But we are making this long distance thing work.

It started 6 years ago.....

both Adam and I were working for a video store chain, but at different locations. Once day Adam was sent to my store to help out. He was a gorgeous looking guy, but didn't talk that much, so I didn't get to know him that well during our shift together. A few months later I was working at his store when he came up with his sister to rent some movies. I gave him my number because I was having a party the following weekend and wanted him to come.
Unfortunately, Adam never came to my party. But he did call a few months later.
After that phone call we meet at a bar and got to know each other. Adam didn't waste any time on asking me out again. That next Wednesday Adam took me to watch him play softball. Watching him play softball reminded me of my childhood of watching my dad play softball. It seemed like we were a match made in the stars.
Adam was in his senior year at Madonna University, and was in the starting pitching rotation on the baseball team. I was able to go watch him pitch during his last season and I was amazed at his ability.
Not only was he playing baseball, finishing up his senior year of college and working, he also coached basketball at Our Lady of Loretto. Adam taught me during the Thanksgiving tournament how to keep score and I became the official score keeper for all four teams.
